‘IT’S A ROYAL KNOCKOUT’
‘Luke Haines commentary on nostalgia and insight into the immutable longevity of popular culture is laid bare, high art from low art or vice versa, you decide as you descend into the unfair funfair of the not so distant past. Haines is standing on the window sill of life holding the ariel up in an attempt to tune the flickering reception of cathode ray images to reveal milestones of culture past as portents to the spectacle of the present’ Charles Brewer – Guardian Arts.
