“Sensitive Material, now in its third year, is a platform for the exhibition of new works of artists’ film and video. Dedicated to expanding and finding new audiences for artist’s film and video, and to exploring the different contexts in which such work can be shown, Sensitive Material has grown to become London’s foremost platform for film and video-based art.
Artists featured in this January’s screening explore such wide-ranging subjects as the mediation and creation of performance by the camera, the development of narrative in video art, women as cardboard objects, filmic historicisation, and societal breakdown.”
