perediza exchange x Logging Off Club
read Clarice Lispector
discuss identity & desire

A unique cultural and social experience brought to you by perediza exchange – the critically-minded media club that explores culture, art, climate, style and life
– in collaboration with Logging Off Club, an offline community based on the ethos of presence, curiosity, and in-person interaction.

This event invites you to step into thoughtful conversation, intentional human connection and creative exchange.
Together, we will read and discuss selected extracts from Ukrainian-born Brazilian novelist – Clarice Lispector – a writer of philosophical tension and emotional precision. Her work invites us to explore thoughts surrounding identity, femininity, language, desire and alienation.

Lispector is a name that not many people have on their bookshelves…yet. Although she might be found alongside writers like Elena Ferrante, Rachel Cusk and Annie Ernaux. People say there is nothing traditional about the way Clarice Lispector writes. This is exactly why we want to understand her art form.

Join us at GALLERY46 to be part of a moment where ideas, curiosity, and community intersect!

PEREDIZA EXCHANGE
www.perediza.com

perediza loves a family get-together. With 23 people now in our team, our meetings span several countries, time zones and creative projects. We suggest new ideas, mull over emerging media forms and talk about the latest tendencies in fashion, art and anything else.

Our screens freeze often, bad connection, but we all emerge giggling and eager to keep talking.
We soon realised that we would love to widen our meetings to reach our loyal readers too.

One call led to the birth of ‘perediza exchange’.
A monthly online meeting where we dissect the meaning and messages in books, films, articles and philosophical discourse related to perediza’s central pillars.

Each season, we’ll be hosting in-person events in different cities, too! Our first event takes place in London at GALLERY46 on 28th February.

2026 is the year of the ‘club’ after all. But, this is a no-pressure meeting. The exchange is welcome to anyone, regardless of how familiar you feel with the media choice of the month.
As long as you want to join the philosophical discussion, we want to hear it!

The Logging Off Club

is a community that promotes offline, phone-free events. We focus on tech justice, education and online safety discussions.

Together, we are currently planning a ‘Reading Room’ event which will consist of an intimate group of 30 people max. This would merge a short discussion and then encourage dedicated reading time of philosophical texts that interrogate the popular idea of creating a ‘personal curriculum’. As a society, we are overwhelmed by work and overstimulated with choice, which sometimes means that we don’t have time to read. So, we hope to make time for reading, and do so within our local community.
