No.15 COGNITIVE DISSONANCE
Is a series of 12 live performances taking place throughout GALLERY46.
All performance will be in various ‘isolated’ positions across all 4 floors of the Gallery.
This filmed ‘action’ produces our own form of a COGNITIVE DISSONANCE.
– an instantaneous frantic drama.
COGNITIVE DISSONANCE can be likened to a failed liminal phase –
which is failure in achieving LIMINALITY; where fluid phasing of becoming is not complete and you are now said to experiencing bouts of trauma, degrees of mania and delusion of one’s reality.
COGNITIVE DISSONANCE is another example of delusion of the mind – where there is a conflict or ‘dissonance’ is a persons belief system or set of rules for understanding reality!
The Individual or societal group to said to be experiencing’ Cognitive Dissonance Disorder’ and they set about producing a forced narrative of a reality in order to sustain their failed or broken belief system.
They therefore become confused to what reality they really want to follow and this anxiety causes real illness and chaos…
….an unbalanced perception or reality.
It could be said that the current modern world is an obstacle course of failed LIMINALITY and COGNITIVE DISSONANCE disorder!!!
So we embrace this chaos!!
As we are produce our own form of COGNITIVE DISSONANCE we hope by adding a leveling out of therapeutic energy will be aided to find your desired reality.
This will be our last TRANSMISSION as part of our LIMINALITY [START DREAMING] series we hope you have enjoyed it.
