Benoît DelHomme


Born in 1961 in a suburb of Paris, Benoît studied cinematography at the Ecole Louis Lumière and later became a renowned cinematographer working on international movies. His credits include The Proposition and Lawless for director John Hillcoat, A Most Wanted Man directed by Anton Corbyn, Salome, directed by Al Pacino, The Theory of Everything directed by James Marsh, The Scent of Green Papaya and Cyclo directed by Tran Ahn Hung.

Benoît has been painting secretly since twenty years between films and this is the first time that he is showing his work. He recalls his first encounter with the Art World was a visit of an Alexander Calder exhibition at the Maeght Foundation in Saint Paul of Venice when he was a kid.
